My mum’s Cypriot ‘Geography Cake’. It’s a recipe that was given to her by a lovely friend in Cyprus called Kyria Georgoulla.
The recipe has a classic combination of ingredients. Rose water, Greek brandy, orange peel and it’s juice. All 3 give the cake a beautiful aroma whilst cooking and a lovely taste when eaten.
A family favourite and often baked, almost every Sunday!!!Wonderful memories helping mum in the kitchen ☺️
